We're delighted to announce that Selwood, part of the Workdry Group, will soon be opening a new depot in Inverness, marking another milestone in our continued growth across the UK.

The new depot will strengthen our support for customers across the north of Scotland. With established operations in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, the addition of Inverness means we're even better positioned to provide end-to-end pump rental solutions across the region.

Alongside Selwood, Siltbuster will have specialist treatment managers based in Inverness and Aberdeen, providing customers with local access to both water handling and wastewater treatment expertise as One Integrated Workdry.

This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in the communities and industries we serve, ensuring our customers benefit from responsive local support backed by a strong nationwide network of 24 depots across the UK.

Last year’s drought conditions and record-low reservoir levels highlighted just how critical water resilience planning has become across the UK💧

In response, Selwood and Pontoonworks collaborated to deliver a rapid, reliable solution - deploying infrastructure quickly across multiple highly visible public sites to help maintain essential water supplies during a period of significant pressure.

Alongside fast deployment, engagement with local communities helped ensure smooth delivery and public confidence throughout the project.

The result:
✔ Maintained continuity of supply
✔ Supported vulnerable river ecosystems
✔ Demonstrated a proven, proactive approach to drought response

As we move into summer 2026, the challenges around water resilience remain very real. Early planning, strong partnerships, and proven response strategies will be critical to managing future drought conditions.
