The outline planning application of development of 18 properties at Lambscroft Nursery on Narcot lane has been granted at an appeal.
The planning inspector, in paragraphs 8 and 9 of the appeal document, identifies that Buckinghamshire Council and the developer agree that the land is grey belt. He also found that the transport available to the site is ‘sustainable’.
The full decision can be viewed on the Parish Council website: https://www.chalfontstgiles-pc.gov.uk/2026/06/outline-planning-application-allowed-at-appeal/

The Parish Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the volunteers who gave their time on Saturday to help make the village look its very best.
It was wonderful to see so many people out in the community, weeding, litter picking, washing and tidying throughout the village centre.
Thanks to your efforts, the village is looking fantastic, and your support is greatly appreciated. We hope everyone will continue to play a part in helping to keep our village clean, green and welcoming throughout the summer.
Thank you once again for your valued support.
