This morning I visited Da Vinci Academy, where students presented their ideas for improving Rainbow Park to councillors, Supporting Communities and Neighbourhood Officers.

The students spoke confidently about the challenges facing the park and shared proposals to help reduce anti-social behaviour and make the area more welcoming for everyone. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and community spirit from our young people.

A huge well done to all the students and staff involved 👏

🚪On the doorstep yesterday on Canterbury Street with Cllr Martin Rawson and Catherine Atkinson MP, speaking with local residents and listening to their concerns.

🗣️ Residents raised a range of issues including anti-social behaviour, speeding traffic and questions around local licensing matters.

It was great to attend the Little Chester Allotments Open Day with Cllr Martin Rawson today. 🌱

A fantastic community event with plenty going on — from the plant sale and allotment walks to meeting local growers and volunteers who do such brilliant work keeping the site looking so good.

We also enjoyed sampling some of the excellent homemade cakes on offer! 🍰😊

Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a welcoming and enjoyable day for the community. Events like this really show the value of local allotments in bringing people together.
