EX AIR COMMODORE ERIC CLARK VISIT βοΈπ¬
We were honored to host former Air Commodore Eric Clark for a visit to the 2329 squadron, where he delivered a presentation detailing his distinguished career and historical contributions to both the Air Training Corps (ATC) and the Royal Air Force (RAF). Mr. Clark was a foundational member of the 2329 squadron, which originated at Kirkcudbright Academy in 1958. It was truly insightful to observe the evolution of the squadron from its inception to its current state. Please find attached a contemporary photograph of the 2329 Squadron, alongside a historical image from 1962, taken at RAF Coningsby during a camp of 2329 squadron , when the squadron was known as the Stewarty of Kirkcudbright and Mr. Clark was an air cadet.
It was a privilege to observe Eric's journey, from his beginnings as a cadet to his distinguished 29-year career in the Royal Air Force, which included postings in Germany, the United States, and various other locations. His significant contributions to the engineering field, particularly during his tenure with the RAF, are highly commendable, and we express our gratitude for his dedicated years of service..
