We extend our sincere gratitude to Nith Valley Cleaning Services for their recent partnership and the excellent services they provided. Their support was invaluable to our staff and cadets, and the team executed their tasks with exceptional proficiency. Pictured with owner Tony are some of the team members who contributed on the day. The entire team demonstrated a commendable attitude and professionalism, and it was a privilege to have them on-site. We deeply appreciate the collaborative spirit within our community, recognizing the significant positive impact that even seemingly small contributions can make. Thank you once again for your assistance.

EX AIR COMMODORE ERIC CLARK VISIT βœˆοΈπŸ›¬

We were honored to host former Air Commodore Eric Clark for a visit to the 2329 squadron, where he delivered a presentation detailing his distinguished career and historical contributions to both the Air Training Corps (ATC) and the Royal Air Force (RAF). Mr. Clark was a foundational member of the 2329 squadron, which originated at Kirkcudbright Academy in 1958. It was truly insightful to observe the evolution of the squadron from its inception to its current state. Please find attached a contemporary photograph of the 2329 Squadron, alongside a historical image from 1962, taken at RAF Coningsby during a camp of 2329 squadron , when the squadron was known as the Stewarty of Kirkcudbright and Mr. Clark was an air cadet.

It was a privilege to observe Eric's journey, from his beginnings as a cadet to his distinguished 29-year career in the Royal Air Force, which included postings in Germany, the United States, and various other locations. His significant contributions to the engineering field, particularly during his tenure with the RAF, are highly commendable, and we express our gratitude for his dedicated years of service..

We are very proud to announce our new Cadet Warrant Officer Robbie Campbell for 2329 Sqn and also Lord lt cadet this year as well. It's been some time since we have had a CWO in this area and this i am sure is every cadet's dream to achieve the rank of CWO which Robbie has very much deserved particularly this year we has been a huge asset to 2329 sqn and also assisting at 1153 sqn with all our new cadets we have had. Robbie is a cadet who really has found that great happy balance of being an NCO where all the cadets have fun with him but also always have alot of respect for him when he is teaching etc. So much so that cadets from other squadron keep asking for him back which is testament to his character and how he represents himself as an NCO and now CWO which we all are very proud of him and this is huge achievement for any cadet to get to in their career so a big well done to CWO Robbie Campbell for this achievement.

Cadets got to go on a trip on Sunday to the National Museum of Flight which turned out to be great sunny day which was enjoyed by all cadets. Alot of them got to see these amazing aircrafts up close and see our history of aircrafts including going inside the concorde which was pretty cool.
Thanks also goes out to staff who helped and transported the cadets to the event.
