XXIV Squadron Deliver First A400M Basic Airdrop Course to Frontline RAF Crews

Three Royal Air Force pilots and two Air Loadmasters of LXX and 30 Squadrons are now capable of conducting Container Delivery System and Light Stores Airdrop tasking, supported by a core proficiency in low flying, having completed the new Basic Airdrop Course.

XXIV leading the way with International Defence Training (IDT).

Personnel from the Belgian Air Force have been training at No. XXIV Squadron (No. 24 Squadron), based at Royal Air Force (RAF) Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. XXIV Sqn were proud to host the England Rugby Coaching Team today as part of the RAF Brize Norton Visit.

Members of the Sqn past and present spent the morning discussing decision making in pressure situations and the value of CRM.

Following lunch the team spent some time in the A400M FFS putting into practice what they had learned in the morning.

XXIV wishes the whole England team all the best for the upcoming Rugby World Cup and is proud to have helped in the journey.
