Take to the platform at Royal Air Force Cosford representing 4624 Sqn Reserves RAF Brize Norton RAF Reserves for the Powerlifting Champs.
Cpl Yvonne 9/9 Lifts with 2 PBs in the Squat and the Bench.
AS1 Matt 7/9 lifts with 3 PBs in all disciplines.
Cpl Yvonne wins the Female Masters with AS1 winning Males Masters.

4624 Squadron member AS1 Ben recently competed at the inaugural RAF Darts Championship alongside 110 other service people. Over the course of the day. AS1 Ben finished second in his group winning two matches and losing one. A total of 744 legs were played during the competition with the eventual Champion averaging 76.86, earning a place at OP BULLSEYE, a fully funded place at Q School courtesy of Winmau, and the RAF Darts Championship Trophy! 🎯👏

AS1 Gardner recently attended the RAF Nordic Ski Challenge 2026.
She was pushed both mentally and physically in what is a highly demanding and technical sport. Spending eight days in Bardufoss, Norway, learning both classic and skate cross country skiing. At the end of the week, she competed in a 5km race including uphill and downhill segments, which put everything she had learnt throughout the week to the test. AS1 Gardner achieved a commendable 5th place position.

She was also awarded the Lacey medal for the following:

"The medal for Endeavour has been awarded each year to those that have shown exceptional grit and determination to overcome the challenges of the sport. In your case also displaying a highly positive attitude to overcome the challenges. We know you took a few big knocks but got on with it and pushed yourself hard.”

Cpl Sutton and AS1 Hill have started the new year competing at the RAF Ski Championships in Austria 🇦🇹. Entering the advanced individual slalom, successfully completing the first and second runs, to post an official race time. Unfortunately no silverware this time, although both achieved a new personal best, a great achievement 👏

Congratulations to all who have been recognised for their outstanding efforts. In particular we would like to congratulate Wing Commander Robert Williams who was awarded the Kings Volunteer Reserves Medal. Wing Commander Williams served on 4624 Squadron for many years prior to serving as Squadron Commander.
