Carnoustie Fire Station needs you
Any daytime availability between 8am and 4pm Monday- Friday? You could be exactly who we’re looking for.
We’re looking for people right here in our community who can provide on call cover during the day — and you might be surprised at how many jobs and lifestyles fit perfectly with being an on call firefighter.
Work from home?
If you’re based locally and can step away from the laptop when your pager goes, you could make a huge difference. Many of our crew balance home working with responding to emergencies.
Work night shifts or mixed shift patterns?
If your days are free, even a few hours of availability could help strengthen our daytime cover. You don’t need to be available 24/7 — just reliably within those daytime windows.
Live or work within 8 minutes of the station?
That’s the key. If you’re close by and want to support your community, we’ll give you all the training, equipment, and support you need.
