At Greenlands Farm Village we are all about bringing people together to enjoy a wonderful day out, whatever the weather. On our open farm you can pet storybook farm animals, pedal (size permitting!) a mini tractor, lark about in a hay strewn play barn, explore the wooden adventure set inside it and, should the sun be shining, picnic by the paddocks (but don’t worry if it is raining – much of Green

lands is undercover). In our artisan village you can buy award-wining regional produce in our farm shop and discover other foodie goodies from both near and far, savour home cooked, locally sourced cooked fayre in our cafe, or simply relax with a fresh brew while the kids revel in a soft play centre. You can also browse through a hand-selected range of distinctive toys, books, clothes, soaps and skincare, plants and wines. All this is the vision of Roger Mason who turned his traditional family farm into what you

UPDATE ON MOLLY OUR POT BELLY PIG

You might all remember our video on Molly a couple of weeks ago when she was due to farrow which unfortunately ended with her having a c-section where all piglets were stillborn
Since then we have been keeping Molly rested while she heals and giving plenty of treats and extra attention

Today’s the day that her stitches are to be removed, so whilst she is out enjoying a free roam on the farm we took our time (over a couple of hours on and off) removing the stitches, this allowed her to stay happy and stress free.
She’s now back in with her friends
She will be out to meet everyone this weekend along with Mabel her Pot belly friend

** NEW ARRIVALS ON THE FARM **

Farmers Roger & Jordan travelled to Shropshire on Wednesday evening to collect these new arrivals for the farm.
The videos don’t do them justice and definitely do not show off their true size, they’re HUGE👀 you really need to see them in person to believe it

We have 4 new arrivals here on the Open Farm - Large White pigs! With 3 sows and 1 boar, we look forward to having LOTS of piglets arriving very soon; the first litter is expected in 3-4 weeks time! 🐷

They are unbelievably huge - words cannot describe the size of them! We can’t wait to see your faces… 👀😂

We have a problematic heron at the pond field

We have already moved our Embden geese and freshly hatched goslings 4 weeks ago away from the pond field after the first set of goslings vanished and now one our runner ducks turns up with ducklings after sitting on a hidden nest🫣
These have now been moved to a new field to try and keep them safe

You can see these ducklings in our Muscovy field in paddocks, mummy duck likes to beg customers for extra snacks so you may get a very close view of them as they follow you around paddocks☺️
