Weโ€™ve had another busy and wonderful day on the Isle of Man! This morning all the groups did all sorts of different activities including high ropes and abseiling. This afternoon, 2 groups headed to the beach and had an incredible time coasteering whilst the other groups had fun on site! We ended the day with wide games and time on the beach.

The children are having the best time and are ready for their final day tomorrow!

๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฒ ISLE OF MAN DAY THREE ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐ŸŒŸ

Weโ€™ve had another amazing day on the Isle of Man! The children have been absolutely brilliant and have had so much fun!

Two groups headed to the beach where they enjoyed paddling, painting stones and building a fire. The highlight of the day was definitely spotting dolphins! ๐Ÿฌ They then moved on to the river for an exciting gorge-walking adventure. After a well-earned meal, they finished off the day with either crate stacking or air rifle shooting.

The other two groups spent a fantastic morning at the lake, taking part in kayaking, sailing and jumping in! This afternoon, they had the best time coasteering (sorry, no pictures of this as the teachers were having far too much fun.) After tea, they did a fun assault course.

Weโ€™re now finishing the day together, cheering on England in their first World Cup game! โšฝ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

We canโ€™t wait for tomorrow!

This afternoon, they went gorge walking and finished the day with archery and rifle shooting. The other two groups had a great day at the lake. They built rafts, went sailing and kayaking. After tea, they went axe throwing and cross bow shooting. See you tomorrow!

๐Ÿ๐ŸŒŸ BLA SSCO Netball ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ

Tonight, a full team of Year 5 pupils represented the school brilliantly at the Year 5/6 BLA SSCO Netball Tournament. The children grew in confidence and improved with every game, putting the skills they have developed in our after-school netball club into practice. As the only all-Year 5 team in the competition, they rose to the challenge admirably.

Throughout the tournament, they played with huge smiles on their faces, supported one another and demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship. They faced some very strong opposition, which has only strengthened their determination and ambitions for success next year.

We are incredibly proud of their effort, attitude, and teamwork. They are more than ready to take on netball in Year 6! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ Big Green Week ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒณ

As part of Big Green Week, what better place for School Council to meet than our amazing outdoor classroom? Made entirely by volunteers, our outdoor space, pond and rainwater storage were created with reclaimed and upcycled materials and donations from local businesses. School council recorded and celebrated what we do as a school to be sustainable. ๐Ÿ‘

A huge thank you to Border Aggregates and Holcim Back Lane Aggregates. ๐Ÿ™
