We have received information from other local schools regarding a WhatsApp group called '100 Before 2027'. Schools in Cumbria have been notified by the police about this group posing a potential risk to pupils.

We strongly urge all parents and carers to check their child’s phone or devices to ensure they are not accessing or participating in this group.

If you have any concerns, questions or would like support, please contact your child’s class teacher.

Oaks have had an amazing day - loads of sun to warm us and dry us. Kayaks, canoes, and scrambling up Church Beck. Now it's cricket, Frisbee and chill before tea.
Families - they can't wait to see you tomorrow. Your children have been INCREDIBLE

Oaks are having a FANTASTIC time with BigAdventure in Coniston on day one of residential. It is Wet Of Wets, but we are smiling. Exploring caverns, kayaking, canoeing and orienteering.
Tomorrow, more adventure! Bring it on!

Another beautiful Friday! Oaks had a really successful field trip last week. Qualative and quantative data collected-thank you if you were one of the members of the public who we interviewed at the Crook O’ Lune.

We want to say a HUGE congratulations to Year Six for an amazing attitude to SATs week. They have shown grit, effort, patience and dedication and (honestly!) we haven’t heard a single grumble. Our super stars.

Another wonderful Forest Schools session for Y5 yesterday. This week, Forest School Olympics!
Groups took to the sky to walk through the air on the slack line - amazing balance! There was also some Forest School Javelin, with DIY javelins flying down the sports field. Everyone made their own medal. And the whole afternoon was washed down with a hot choc and choccy biccie.
What a great way to spend the day.
