Ma’r tymor yn dirwyn i ben, ac mae’n drist meddwl mai dyma’r bwcedi olaf o flode eleni. Sad that these buckets of flowers were for the final wedding of the season. But gardeners are always looking forward and making plans for next year!
I’ve started sowing some seeds I’ve collected that will overwinter in the little greenhouse, and hopefully produce earlier flowers next year- delphiniums, sweet peas and sweet williams. I’ll be conducting a lazy experiment with the nigella, cornflowers and ammi majus-leave the plants in the border over winter, and wait to see what pops up in the spring. I could be lucky, they may self seed, and save me some hours on my knees next year!🤞
