Great session at Brampton Community Centre on Friday. We looked at the use of warm and cool colour and how it can change the mood of a painting.

Please note, the session won't be running this week as it is Good Friday!

Find out all about Hygge. In brief, hygge is about taking time away from the daily rush to be together with people you care about - or even by yourself - to relax and enjoy life's quieter pleasures. The word hygge dates back to around 1800, at least in the meaning it has today. However, various definitions of hygge can be traced back to the Middle Ages, where a similar Old Norse word meant "protected from the outside world."

Yesterday, we had a fun time at Botcherby Community Centre with a 'Guess the Mystery Object' session.

It was a great way to spark conversation and to share knowledge and memories (not mention some of the answers being absolutely hilarious!)

And as always, the coffee and cakes were delicious!

We had a lovely session at Harraby Community Centre yesterday.

We saved Chilli and Tomato seeds from plants grown on site this year. The seeds will be dried and stored in origami folded packets made by the wonderful Gill & Chuck.

We also dried & prepped chillis to cook with and share out with the community.

And finally, we saved seeds of the 'Trail of Tears' climbing beans to sow at Harraby next year to increase diversification. 'Trail of Tears' were grown by the Cherokee people in the USA and carried with them when they endured forced migration in 1838.
