Project walkthrough: Llanishen Care Home.

With works now complete, Ellis is taking us through the finished development and the systems delivered by the Concept team.

Our scope included the fire alarm, access control and CCTV systems, with our engineers working alongside the wider project team to deliver a coordinated installation through to final handover.

Care environments require reliable, compliant systems that protect residents, staff and the building itself - while integrating seamlessly into the wider development.

This project is a great example of our ability to deliver multiple life safety and security disciplines under one roof, from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Another successful fire alarm upgrade completed. đź‘Ź

Our team recently completed works across three student accommodation blocks for Cardiff University, upgrading the existing systems to Gent Vigilon throughout.

Working closely alongside the project’s main and sub-contractors, our team delivered the upgrade while ensuring the buildings are supported by a compliant and reliable life safety system.

Projects like this rely on strong coordination both on site and behind the scenes, so a huge credit to our engineers and management team for another job well done.

Concept Fire Protection has been awarded a two-year agreement by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership to carry out fire door inspections across healthcare facilities throughout Wales.

It’s a privilege to support an organisation where fire safety is absolutely critical. Fire doors are one of the most important elements of passive fire protection, helping to slow the spread of fire and smoke and providing valuable time for safe evacuation.

Over the next two years, our team will be delivering comprehensive inspections, detailed digital reporting and expert recommendations to help NHS Wales maintain compliant fire door assets across its estate.

Our Fire Protection Division have recently completed fire door remedial works at the Cardiff and Vale College International Centre for Aerospace Training (ICAT), following a comprehensive fire door inspection across the campus.

This project follows the successful completion of our fire stopping works, delivering a coordinated approach to passive fire protection throughout the building.

All works were completed under our BM TRADA accreditation, giving the client confidence that installations and remedial works have been independently certified to recognised industry standards for quality, competence and compliance.
