Do you work with or support neurodivergent young people aged 11–25? | Ydych chi'n gweithio gyda phobl ifanc niwrowahanol rhwng 11 a 25 oed neu'n eu cefnogi?

Here at Children in Wales we have just launched a new project, Brain Power: Pŵer yr Ymennydd, in partnership with Welsh Government. The project is creating a new advisory group for Neurodivergent children and young people to share their experiences and help shape the services and support that affect them.

You can help spread the word and encourage the young people you work with to get involved. A taster session will be held on Saturday 27th June 2026 10am-3pm at Spark, Maindy Rd, Cardiff CF24 4HQ.

Let us know by Wednesday 24th June if you’d like to participate in this taster session.

We’re proud to have been part of today’s Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board Conference 2026, delivering a workshop in partnership with the Cardiff & Vale Regional Partnership Board ND Transformation Lead.

It was a pleasure to contribute to a day centred on practical partnership working, shared learning and shaping the future of care and support across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Our workshop was a valuable opportunity to explore how working together can strengthen understanding, build relationships and improve outcomes for neurodivergent people and their families.

Thank you to everyone who joined our session, and to the organisers for such a thoughtful and inspiring conference.

Rydym yn falch o fod wedi cael bod yn rhan o Gynhadledd Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board a’r Fro 2026 heddiw, yn cyflwyno gweithdy mewn partneriaeth ag Arweinydd Trawsnewid Niwrowahaniaeth Bwrdd Partneriaeth Rhanbarthol Caerdydd a’r Fro.

Roedd yn bleser cael cyfrannu i ddiwrnod a oedd yn canolbwyntio ar waith partneriaeth ymarferol, rhannu dysg, a llunio dyfodol gofal a chymorth ar draws Caerdydd a Bro Morgannwg.

Roedd ein gweithdy’n gyfle gwerthfawr i archwilio sut y gall cydweithio atgyfnerthu dealltwriaeth, meithrin perthnasoedd, a gwella canlyniadau ar gyfer pobl niwrowahanol a’u teuluoedd.

Diolch i bawb a ymunodd â’n sesiwn, ac i’r trefnwyr am gynhadledd mor fyfyrgar ac ysbrydoledig.

Day is a chance to celebrate autistic identity, voice and community - and to recognise the importance of a society where people are understood, respected and able to thrive. 💛

That message sits at the heart of Neuroinclusion Matters!, our live event series from Neurodiversity Celebration Week, which brought together a host of voices to explore why neuroinclusion matters and how we can build more neuroinclusive communities and workplaces.

For Autistic Pride Day, we’re proud to signpost to the Neuroinclusion Matters! page on our website, where you can watch the recordings and hear directly from people sharing their stories, insights and reflections.

Because celebrating pride also means listening to voices, valuing lived experience, and working towards communities and services that are more understanding, inclusive and neuroaffirming.

On this page are a set of videos that were recorded for the National Neurodivergence Team’s Neuroinclusion Matters! event. This event was held to mark Neurodiversity Celebration Week in March 2026. Mae Diwrnod Balchder Awtistiaeth yn gyfle i ddathlu hunaniaeth, llais a’r gymuned awtistaidd - ac i gydnabod pwysigrwydd cymdeithas lle mae pobl yn cael eu deall, eu parchu a lle maent yn gallu ffynnu.

Mae’r neges honno yn greiddiol i ‘Mae Niwrogynhwysiant yn Bwysig!’, ein cyfres o ddigwyddiadau byw gan Wythnos Dathlu Niwroamrywiaeth, sy’n dod â llu o leisiau ynghyd i archwilio pam fod niwrogynhwysiant yn bwysig a sut allwn ni greu cymunedau a gweithleoedd sy’n fwy niwrogynhwysol.

Ar gyfer Diwrnod Balchder Awtistiaeth, rydym yn falch o gyfeirio at dudalen Mae Niwrogynhwysiant yn Bwysig! ar ein gwefan lle gallwch wylio’r recordiadau a chlywed yn uniongyrchol gan bobl sy’n rhannu eu straeon, mewnwelediadau a’u myfyrdodau.

Gan fod dathlu awtistaidd hefyd yn golygu gwrando ar awtistig, gwerthfawrogi profiad bywyd a gweithio tuag at gymunedau a gwasanaethau sydd â gwell dealltwriaeth ac sy’n fwy cynhwysol a niwrogadarnhaol.

Ewch i’n gwefan i archwilio’r gyfres: https://neurodivergencewales.org/cy/rwyn-niwrowahanol/beth-yw-niwrowahaniaeth/niwrogynhwysiant-mae-o-bwys/

Ar y dudalen hon mae set o fideos a recordiwyd ar gyfer digwyddiad ‘Niwrogynhwysiant: Mae o Bwys!’ y Tîm Niwrowahaniaeth Cenedlaethol. Cynhaliwyd y digwyddiad hwn i nodi Wythnos Dathlu Niwroamrywiaeth ym mis Mawrth 2026. Mae’r fideos yn cynnwys amrywiaeth o bobl niwrowahanol yn siarad am eu p...

The theme for this year's is ‘Do You See Me?’, focusing on the importance of people with a learning disability being seen, heard, and valued.

This theme highlights visibility and recognition as key aspects of the week. It also serves as a reminder that many people with a learning disability can face barriers to inclusion, often feeling marginalised or overlooked by society.

Intersectionality plays an important role in this discussion, as many people with a learning disability are also , adding another layer of complexity to their experiences of visibility and inclusion.

This year, the National Neurodivergence Team will be exhibiting at , organised by All Wales People First, the united voice of self-advocacy groups and people with learning disabilities in Wales.

Thema eleni yw 'Ydych Chi'n Fy Ngweld i?', gan ganolbwyntio ar bwysigrwydd gweld, clywed a gwerthfawrogi pobl ag anabledd dysgu.

Amlygodd y thema hon welededd a chydnabyddiaeth fel agweddau allweddol ar yr wythnos. Roedd hefyd yn ein hatgoffa y gall llawer o bobl ag anabledd dysgu wynebu rhwystrau i gynhwysiant, gan deimlo'n aml eu bod yn cael eu hymylu neu eu hanwybyddu gan gymdeithas.

Mae croestoriadoldeb yn chwarae rhan bwysig yn y drafodaeth hon, gan fod llawer o bobl ag anabledd dysgu hefyd yn niwrowahanol, gan ychwanegu haen arall o gymhlethdod at eu profiadau o welededd a chynhwysiant.

Eleni, bydd y Tîm Niwrowahaniaeth Cenedlaethol yn arddangos yn , a drefnir gan All Wales People First, llais unedig grwpiau hunan-eiriolaeth a phobl ag anableddau dysgu yng Nghymru.
