Canterbury School of Visual Arts at Canterbury College Welcome to the official page of the Canterbury School of Visual Arts at Canterbury College.

We are currently using this to provide tutorials, help and advice for all visual arts students that wish to use it. With its stimulating and vibrant atmosphere, our outstanding art & Design department is one of the most successful and exciting in Kent. Student make full use of our modern Art facilities and their work is displayed in our in-house gallery "The Palette". At our end-of-year show work

is exhibited in venues around the city centre. You will be able to use a wide range of industry-standard facilities, including: a photography studio and dark room; graphic design studios with iMacs and CINTIQ graphic tablets; printing & textile studios featuring silk screening equipment and a traditional Albion print press; and our newly opened sculpture and ceramics studios with potter’s wheels and kilns. Our Art & Design department was awarded OFSTED Grade 1 - 'outstanding' during our last inspection, we are one of the only three 'outstanding' Art and Design Departments in the UK.
