Cannock Chase Council Countryside Service Welcome to the official page for Cannock Chase District Council's Countryside Service.

The Countryside Service manages a range of habitats and open spaces within Cannock Chase District. The aim of the service is to manage these sites for the benefit of people and wildlife. The aim of this page is to showpiece the councils open spaces and the wildlife to be found there. To keep people up to date with events, wildlife sightings, volunteer days and service news.

The consultation runs until 27 July.

❗Parking at our sites

Recently on a number of occasions within a short timescale, we have been blocked from accessing our own site to carry out maintenance work, and signs asking people not to park in front of or block gates have been ripped down.

Please do not block access, not just for us, but also in case of an emergency.
