FASD stands for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, which is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder. Children with FASD grow up to be adults with FASD, meaning some level of support may always be needed. Everyone can play a part in providing that support.

A new programme starting on Thursday 17th September, 6.00pm - 7.00pm at Cannock Family Hub.

The programme comprises 6 weekly sessions and covers a range of topics to help support and build connection.

Nature based play for children walking to 5 year olds 🍂

6 weekly sessions exploring creative ways to play in nature.
Each week there are opportunities to create wild arts and crafts, fun play in the mud kitchen, bug hunting, make bird feeders, sensory play, songs, stories and more.

Please dress appropriately for all weathers as we will be outdoors for the majority of the session. Please wear layers, waterproofs and wellies.

Staffordshire County Council is reviewing the Aiming High SEND Short Breaks service and would welcome your feedback ❤

Aiming High provides free activities and short breaks of up to a few hours for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

As we consider how the service should be delivered in the future, we want to understand what is working well, what could be improved, and what matters most to families and the professionals who support them.
