If you find yourself in trouble in the water, you can help yourself get back to safety by learning to float. Floating minimises your risk of gasping uncontrollably and breathing in water, which can quickly lead to drowning.

Unplug your v**e when it’s fully charged to reduce the risk of fire.

Rechargeable v**es contain batteries which can overheat when left charging for too long - and that means fire risk.

It will take you 30 seconds to drop a used v**e at a recycling point.

When v**es get crushed in general waste or mixed recycling, the batteries become a fire. That spark becomes a fire. Sometimes in the truck. Sometimes at the depot.

Find your nearest v**e recycling point. It could be at a supermarket, v**e shop or council site.
