Cambridge Brexit Campaign

Cambridge Brexit Campaign A student-run Cambridge campaign for a better, brighter, freer, more democratic Britain independent

Although we are primarily university-based, anyone is welcome at our events and meetings. We aim to provide a cross-party platform for grassroots Brexit campaigners and supporters in Cambridge to unite behind. We therefore welcome anyone from across the political spectrum to join our efforts. If you believe Britain should leave the EU and rejoin the world, then we want your help to make it happen!

As of yet, we are not linked to any national campaign, although we openly distribute campaign literature from as many of them as possible. Our priority is Britain leaving the EU, not which national group wins the official delegation. How to get involved:
-Sign up to the mailing list: https://lists.cam.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/soc-cbc
-‘Like’ our page and subscribe to events.
-Come to any events and meetings that interest you. If you have any questions, send a message to the page, and we will get back to you.

In the light of recent developments on the Brexit front, there will be a meetup tomorrow at 7pm for Leave supporters, organised in conjunction with Leavers of Britain. Details / RSVP at the website linked below, though be aware that you get more details once you're signed up and logged in.

On what *should* be the final day of the UK’s membership of the EU, Leavers of Cambridge are inviting everyone who supports the UK leaving to come for some drinks, celebrations or commiserations at the Brew House on King St in the heart of Cambridge.

There's a Leavers Christmas drinks event in Cambridge on 15 December in the late afternoon / early evening. It'd be great to see like-minded folk there; organised by Leavers of Britain - if you join and log in to their website, it'll give you the precise venue and RSVP details - alternatively drop us a message via Facebook.

Come and join like-minded Leavers for drinks in the early evening of Friday 15 December. It is likely that the EU Withdrawal Agreement will have been voted on in the House of Commons a few days earlier, so there will be much to discuss.

Thank you to everyone who voted to leave the EU!
Finally, free of EU bureaucratic rule, our newly independent nation can forge its own path in this world, and decide its own destiny.

Happy independence day!
