It's a week since I resigned from the labour party. They say a week is a long time in politics. I managed to get a lot in. I met with Andrew Osborne, Paul Mcgarr and Tom Woodcock to discuss a way forward. This was to be based around a letter signed by a number of activists https://yourpartycambridge.uk/letter
Signed the letter, acquired two websites and emails, and a twitter and set up Yourparty Cambridge Facebook. Meanwhile Paul set up a WhatsApp and Ozzie and him started inviting people to join. Then we waited.
Well, yes, a week certainly is a long time in politics. We now have over 345 friends on Facebook and have a huge pile of emails that are lurking, waiting for a response.
Discussions have been taking place on a very large WhatsApp. To say this was exciting would be an understatement. We are a bottom up organisation that a week ago had no structure. Over the week some semblance of order has emerged.
