🎉 Social events don’t have to derail your nutrition for the rest of the week.
If you’re tired of knowing what to do but struggling to make it work in real life, book a call with me and let’s talk about how I can help.
Because the answer isn’t avoiding dinners out, birthdays, drinks with friends or weekends away. It’s learning how to enjoy them without turning one meal into a whole week of “I’ll start again Monday”.
My three top tips:
1. Eat normally beforehand 🥗
Don’t skip breakfast or survive on a tiny salad because you’re “saving calories”. Turning up ravenous makes it much harder to make conscious choices and much easier to eat everything in sight.
2. Decide where you’re happy to compromise 🍕
You don’t have to have everything just because it’s there. Maybe you really want dessert, so you skip the bread basket. Maybe you want a few glasses of w**e, so you choose a simpler main. Decide before you arrive what actually feels worth it to you.
3. Make the people the main event, not the food 🤩
The real reason you’re there is (hopefully!) the conversation, the laughter and spending time with people you like. Enjoy the food, absolutely but let it be part of the occasion rather than the whole occasion.
📣Healthy eating that only works when you’re at home, in complete control and nothing unexpected happens isn’t particularly sustainable.
The goal is to build habits that work alongside your actual life, social events included.
