It’s been a little while, but Barbara & John are back together behind the counter tomorrow morning! 🙌

We work together during the week, of course, but it’s been a good while since you’ve had the two of us together on a Monday!

As always, Tehidy Road Post Office is open six days a week:

We’re delighted to announce that 𝗧𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗞.

The Camborne Banking Hub is due to open this September in Trelowarren Street, helping ensure local people and businesses continue to have access to face-to-face banking services in the town.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲.

We’ll continue providing the same Post Office, parcel and everyday banking services from our Tehidy Road branch that our customers know and rely on, while also operating the new Camborne Banking Hub as an additional service for our community.

The Hub will provide everyday cash services through the Post Office counter, alongside dedicated Community Banker visits from participating banks, ensuring customers continue to have access to specialist banking support locally.

As a family business that has proudly served Camborne for more than 20 years, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.

We’re also currently recruiting 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 who will become the familiar faces of the Banking Hub, welcoming and supporting customers every day.

As Father’s Day comes to a close, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate all the dads, grandads, step-dads and father figures who make a difference every day. 💙

The moments may seem small at the time – a walk, a chat, a helping hand or a shared laugh – but they’re often the memories that stay with us the longest.

We hope you’ve had the chance to spend time with loved ones today, and we also remember those who are no longer with us but remain part of our stories and memories.

You may have seen posts from local councillor Paul White and our MP Perran Moon today about the new Banking Hub planned for Camborne.

There’s been lots of excitement, but also quite a bit of confusion about what a Banking Hub actually is, so we thought we’d share some of the basics:

✅ Customers of most major banks will be able to withdraw cash.

✅ Customers will be able to deposit cash and cheques.

✅ Balance enquiries and bill payments will be available.

✅ Community Bankers from participating banks will visit on set days each week to help with more complex banking queries.

❌ The Banking Hub is not a branch of any one bank.

❌ Community Bankers will not all be present every day.

❌ Customers do not need to switch banks to use the Hub’s counter services.

It’s also worth remembering that many everyday banking transactions, including cash withdrawals, cash deposits, cheque deposits and balance enquiries for customers of most major banks, are already available at Tehidy Road Post Office and will continue to be available both before and after the Banking Hub opens.

The Banking Hub will add to the banking services available in Camborne, helping to maintain access to cash and face-to-face banking services within the local community.

As more information becomes available, we’ll be happy to help point customers in the right direction and answer any questions where we can. 👍🏦
