🚨 Scam Awareness 🚨
This week, our team helped prevent what appeared to be a scam involving a customer attempting to send money.
We’re sharing this as a reminder that fraudsters are becoming increasingly convincing and can target anyone.
If you’re ever asked to:
❌ Send money to someone you’ve never met
❌ Transfer funds because of an urgent phone call, text or email
❌ Keep a payment secret from family or friends
❌ Act quickly without time to think
Please stop and seek advice first.
We’re always happy to ask a few extra questions if something doesn’t seem right. It might feel intrusive at the time, but we’d much rather help prevent someone losing their hard-earned money.
If you’re unsure about a payment, come and talk to us before sending it.
