Fynamore Primary School has been selected as one of three school sites to be supported

The School Streets scheme will be introduced under an Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (ETROs), allowing Wiltshire Council to trial the measures, gather further feedback and decide whether they should be made permanent.

School Streets pilot progressing in Wiltshire.

We are moving ahead with a School Streets pilot at three locations following consultation feedback.

The scheme will temporarily restrict traffic at school drop-off and pick-up times to help:
✅ Keep children safer
✅ Cut congestion
✅ Improve air quality
✅ Encourage walking and cycling

Each site will be trialled before any long-term decisions are made.
