We would like to congratulate 2 of our crew members here at Callington fire station. Callum who joined the service already qualified as an HGV driver has successfully passed his Emergency driving course, delivered by the excellent driver training team here at Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.

Dan has now successfully passed his HGV course and will now carry out fire appliance familiarisation until his emergency driving course in September.

Both Callum and Dan have shown excellent commitment to their personal development and to further support the station and community with their additional skills.

Well done both. Amazing achievements, early on in your fire service careers.

End of an era at Callington Fire Station! 🚒

Yesterday evening, we marked a truly special occasion as Crew Manager Richard Trevithick attended his final drill night. After an incredible 30 years of dedicated service to the Callington community and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Richard is hanging up his helmet.
It was wonderful to have family and friends join us at the station to celebrate such a massive achievement.

Please join us in wishing Richard a very long and happy retirement. 🧑‍🚒 🚒
