Caldicot Town Council will be holding an Extraordinary Meeting of the Full Town Council on Tuesday 8 September 2026, immediately following the Full Town Council P&R meeting.

Caldicot Town Council would like to inform residents that the next meeting of the Full Town Council (Planning & Resources) will be held on:

6:30pm
at Caldicot Town Council Building

The meeting will also be available to attend remotely via Microsoft Teams.

Community Grant Applications

A reminder to local community groups that the closing date for submitting a Caldicot Town Council Community Grant application is fast approaching.

Please ensure your completed application form, together with all supporting documentation required under the Council’s Community Grant Policy is returned by 1 September 2026.

Applications that are incomplete or do not include all the required supporting documentation will not be considered, in accordance with the policy available on the Council’s website.

Applications will be considered at the 14 September 2026 meeting of Caldicot Town Council Grants committee.

Our Town Councillors and volunteers have been hard at work today, adding new plants around the Town Centre.

The plants, purchased by Caldicot Town Council, will be looked after and watered by our Facilities Officer — though the Welsh weather might lend a helping hand from time to time!

As this project is entirely supported by volunteers, progress will be gradual, and more planting will continue over the coming weeks.

Every contribution makes a difference, and we would like to thank all those involved, as the project would not be achievable without the time, effort, and commitment of the volunteers.

This project highlights what can be achieved when the community comes together, creating a brighter and more welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy.

We kindly ask residents and visitors to help us keep the area looking its best by treating the new plants with care and respect. Thank you.
