Yn ystod y cam hwn o’r prosiect, bydd y Neuadd Fawr, y cwrt canolog a rhai ardaloedd llawr gwaelod y ward fewnol ar gau i ymwelwyr. Bydd lloriau uwch a llwybrau’r waliau ar agor fel arfer ond bydd angen defnyddio grisiau troellog hanesyddol er mwyn eu cyrraedd.

Bydd ein toiledau ymwelwyr ar gau drwy gydol y prosiect, ond mae toiledau ar gael ym marchnad gymunedol Ffos Caerffili gerllaw (ar gau ar ddydd Llun), nepell o fynedfa’r castell.

Bydd pob ymwelydd yn cael gostyngiad o 25% ar bris mynediad.

Visitor Notice

During the current phase of the project, the Great Hall, central courtyard and some ground floor areas of the inner ward will be closed to visitors. Upper floors and wall walks will be open as much as possible, but will require accessing historic spiral stairs.

Our visitor toilets will be closed throughout the project, but toilets are available at the nearby Ffos Caerffili community market (closed on Mondays) just a short distance from the castle entrance.

All visitors will receive a 25% discount on admission.

Bydd Castell Caerffili yn ailagor ddydd Gwener 18 Ebrill 2025.

Oherwydd ein bod yn parhau gyda’r gwaith ailddatblygu sylwch os gwelwch yn dda na fydd toiledau ar gael i ymwelwyr ar dir y castell; mae'r toiledau agosaf yn Ffos Caerffili sydd ar agor o 9am.

Bydd pob ymwelydd yn cael gostyngiad o 10% ar bris mynediad ac arweinlyfr am ddim i’r castell gan y bydd rhai ardaloedd ar gau neu fynediad wedi ei chyfyngu tra ydym yn parhau i osod system dehongli sain / lluniau newydd.

Caerphilly Castle is reopening on Friday 18 April 2025.

However, due to the ongoing redevelopment work and the installation of new audio / visual interpretation, some areas of the castle including the Great Hall will remain closed; therefore all visitors will receive a 10% discount on admission and a free castle guidebook.

During this time there will be no visitor toilets available within the castle grounds; the nearest toilets are at Ffos Caerffili which is open from 9am.
