It's work experience week 1 for our electrical skills bootcamp!

Each learner has been given the opportunity to spend the week getting a taste for life in the industry experiencing different jobs, sites and roles whilst learning some new skills.

Here at FITA we are exceptionally proud to have almost 50 fire and security apprentices currently studying with us, and Wales’ first ever group of FESS apprentices will be graduating from the Fire Industry Training Academy in the summer.

We pride ourselves on working closely with some of the fire and security industry’s largest and most trusted employers to deliver several career pathways, and our pre-apprenticeship bootcamps offer the perfect introduction into the sector whilst preparing learners to take their next steps towards apprenticeship.

This National Apprentice Week, not only do we celebrate all our learners and their determination to succeed in the industry, but encourage more employers to bridge the skills gap and develop future generations of FESS technicians in Wales.

We are seeking an industry experienced engineer keen to transition into teaching.

You will plan and deliver both theory and practical sessions, mentor apprentices through hands-on tasks and help them achieve industry-standard competencies.
