It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to d

onate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

Join us for a creative and relaxing session of Tea and Print on Thursday 1 October at 3pm!

Enjoy this creative session by learning to make and design your own prints using simple gelli plate printing techniques.

Suitable for all abilities- ages 16+

Tickets are £12 per person and include tea or coffee and all printing materials.

Join us for our Dreamcatchers Family Learning workshop on Wednesday 16 September at 4pm.

Work together as a family to create your own dream catcher.

For ages 5-11. Tickets are £4.40 per child and must be prebooked at the library.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Join us for monthly themed walking group on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 2pm.

You can join in with the theme as much or as little as you want or just come along for a stroll and a chat!

Our next walk is on Wednesday 9th September and our theme will be Photography. Bring along your camera phone and let’s see what interesting photos we can take. You are welcome to bring a poem to share with the group or simply to walk and listen.

All walks start and finish at the library.

No need to book. Ask in the library for more details.

Join us for a fun night of quizzing to celebrate our 90th Birthday on Wednesday 30 September at 7.30pm!

Spaces are limited so must be pre-booked in the library.

£6 per person with teams of up to 5 people.

If you fancy a quiz but can't make up a team- don't worry, we also have an all-comers team that individuals can join! Just come and speak to one of the library team to book.
