Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a theft of fuel in Conyers Green, near Great Barton, last week.

An excavator and fuel bowser were targeted at some point between 11pm on Tuesday 9 to 5am Wednesday 10 June, and approximately 1,000 litres of diesel was stolen.

Anyone who heard or saw any suspicious activity between the times stated should contact Suffolk police quoting crime reference 37/33181/26

Today, Bury CPT teamed up with our colleagues at West Suffolk Council to clear away abandoned tents and belongings at Tayfen Meadow, helping keep our community spaces safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone 🌿✨

Checks were conducted with West Suffolk Council to ensure these tents were no longer being used before they were removed.
