A Massive Thank You to all who supported our Online Charity Auction, we raised just over £7400 which has been donated to local good causes, many of whom donated lots to be sold on their behalf. This week we celebrated the naming of a Rickshaw in the fleet of the Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw, Charity. Bee and Chris Painton generously bid for the right to name "Ronald" the Rickshaw, and here he is receiving his name, and giving a ride to Chris and Bee to celebrate. Many thanks to all who organise and ride the Rickshaws bringing fun, companionship and environmentally friendly transport to many of our local residents.

Celebrating 20 Years of Bury Abbey Rotary Club at the Bury St Edmunds Golf Club on Saturday Night. Joined by many lovely friends and supporters including Members of Bury St Edmunds Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Cambridge UK, Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower and Rotary Club of Ipswich Wolsey and well as Bury St Edmunds Round Table. Thank you to District Governor Elect Andy Roberts and Irene Childerly District Governor Nominee. for supporting our event. We were delighted to celebrate the success of the winners and runners up of our Young Photographer Competition at the Bury St Edmunds Guildhall on Saturday. Congratulations to all the young people who were successful and thank you to Carol Street Photography Josephine Sweetman Bury St Edmunds Town Council and St Benedicts School for your support. The winners of this heat go through to the national Rotary Young Photographer competition. Thanks Josephine Sweetman for the lovely photo.
