Rest in Peace, Firefighter Kevin Mudd. Kevin served for over 30 years at RAF Alconbury along with being a Retained Firefighter in Huntingdon. Over the years, many of us at Mildenhall have worked with and have fond memories of Kevin. He was a highly skilled firefighter, mentor, fun to be around and a loving father. Our thoughts are with RAF Alconbury and his family.

The RAF Mildenhall Firefighters Association is raising funds throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All money raised will go to the charity, Little Lifts. See below.

🙏 FANTASTIC SUPPORTERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🙏

This October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month. So, in aid of this incredibly important event, the RAF Mildenhall Firefighters Association are running our very first fundraising t-shirt drive to support a small and local charity called Little Lifts and we would really like it if we could raise as much money for this very worthy charity as possible. To find out more about Little Lifts and the amazing work they do, please check out the link at the bottom of this post.

We have created two separate t-shirt designs for you to choose from. Both designs sporting the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon to show your incredible support.
In the tradition of keeping it 💯 we will be donating 100% of the profits raised to Little Lifts. See attached pictures for the T-shirt designs we are offering. T-shirts will be sold at our standard rate of £20 plus postage.

And our very own Crew Manager, Paul Oakes has just become one of them!!

Having been recognised for over 20 years in the fire service, his dedication to supervising firefighters operationally and at the department, along with mentoring and successfully running programs; has awarded him the Fire Officer (FO) designation.

That's 4 British Fire Officers now with this designation from the Commission on Professional Credentialing, and they are all at RAF Mildenhall Fire Department!!!
