Dandelion Day is the 15th of April... add the date to your diary!
Join us this April in celebrating Dandelion Day by wearing something yellow at school, work, or home.
It’s a simple way to show military children just how amazing they are 💛
The dandelion is the official flower of the military child.
It blooms wherever the wind carries it, putting down strong, resilient roots even in the toughest environments, just like military children, wherever their adventures take them.

The Bury St Edmunds Makers Market is back on Easter Sunday! 🐣🐰 Bring the kids for some FREE Easter fun! We will be joined by Alice and the Easter Bunny who will be walking around the market for meet and greets, photo opportunities and handing out Easter treats! FREE face painting will also be offered on the market!
Children are invited to make their own pop up Easter Bunny with The Crafty Foxes and get into the Easter spirit with something they can take home and enjoy!
Come and browse the market with over 80 stalls, pick up Easter treats, enjoy live music, and bring the kids for some free activities!

Hi everyone! I’m Sarah, and I’ve recently joined the Chaplaincy Team as the Community Engagement Worker here at Honington.
My heart for this role is all about building bridges. I’m here to strengthen the links between our chaplaincy and the local area. Whether you are active military personnel, a family member, or a veteran, I want to help foster a real sense of belonging and create spaces where we can explore faith together through inclusive engagement.
I’ll be honest—I’ve had a bit of a bumpy start! I managed to break my foot within my first month on the job, which has kept me off the road for a moment. However, I’ll be back behind the wheel from 20 April, and I am so ready to hit the ground running (carefully!).
I’m really keen to get out and meet as many of you as possible. You’ll see me at coffee mornings, support groups, and base events very soon. Beyond that, I’m looking forward to launching mid-week events, Messy Church, and holiday clubs to name but a few!
