Derbyshire County Council have been working with the NHS and local volunteers to deliver the vaccine rollout. 55% of people in Derbyshire have now been vaccinated!

Cllr Andrew Churchil and Cllr Kerry Haines have been working with Repton Parish Council and a number of local residents to identify places at risk of flooding. The group has now appointed Flood Wardens to develop a Flood Plan, helping to ensure occupiers of all previously flooded properties and making sure they know of the available flood protection grants available. They have also developed a log of vulnerable residents who would need extra assistance in the event of an incident.

Our winters seem to have been getting wetter in recent years and residents have suffered from exceptionally heavy rain and serious flooding twice in the last eighteen months, with most of the Ward’s villages experiencing some form of inundation
