Thankyou everybody that voted in the local elections, I'm so overwhelmed with your support.
This was by no means a defeat, we have changed Briercliffe into a marginal seat.

Delighted to welcome Labour's brilliant Shadow Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson to today, to visit the superb breakfast club at Cherry Fold Community Primary School in Coal Clough. Later, we popped in to 's Mooch Cafe87, before some campaigning for Peter Coles Briercliffe Labour Candidate in Briercliffe. A great day!

I have decided to stand again as your local labour candidate for Briercliffe. I have been pottering about and trying to get things moving and done over recent months. And as you can see I’ve made some wins. I’m going to need support to make our area a better place to live. I created the book stop at the old Haggate bus stop. We want to put another one in lower down in Briercliffe and would love suggestions of location. Follow me share my page. Think the important thing is if we want change in our area we need to vote and use our voice to make our area better for us 😄

Briercliffe results are in 😄

Liberal 614.
Labour 356.
Conservative 219.
Greens 50.
Turn out 29.2%.

We are very happy with this result as gained 108 votes on last year which is a increase of 43.5 %

We will go again next year watch this space
