Buntingford Library The library for Buntingford Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website.

We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Those who visit the library are able to do this in person. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you don

ate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

January’s so-called Blue Monday is long gone, and summer is well and truly on its way…

However that’s no reason to take your mental health for granted.

Mental Health Awareness Week runs May 11 - 17 2026 and our Mental Health Awareness blog https://tinyurl.com/2j2xvwud will be able to signpost you to a variety of useful organisations to assist you on your journey to better mental health. We also tell you about the many other ways libraries can help (such as social groups) and provide a special list of useful books found in Hertfordshire libraries.

Prefer not to ask? DID YOU KNOW every library has a Social Care Hub where you can browse information – no questions needed.
