We would like to also extend our heartfelt thanks to the farming community across Wales for the incredible support shown during these recent incidents.

Farmers have worked tirelessly alongside emergency crews, spending endless hours on the firegrounds, supplying water, creating and maintaining fire breaks, using their machinery and equipment, and helping crews tackle and contain fires. Many have left their own farms, families and businesses to support their local communities when they were needed most.

Your local knowledge, equipment, hard work and determination have made a huge difference. The support from the farming community has been nothing short of outstanding, and we cannot thank you enough.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the National Resilience crews who have answered the call to support communities across Wales. Crews have travelled from across the country to provide additional fire cover, personnel and fire appliances, ensuring that local communities continue to receive vital emergency cover while local crews are committed to these major incidents.

To every firefighter, resilience crew, farmer, landowner and volunteer who has given their time, worked long days and continued to turn up when called upon — thank you.

Your dedication, teamwork and willingness to help others during some extremely challenging conditions truly demonstrates the spirit of our emergency services and rural communities.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful communities across Powys and Gwent for the incredible hospitality, kindness and support shown to our crews during recent major incidents.

The generosity of local people has been truly appreciated. The food, drinks and refreshments so kindly donated have meant a great deal to our crews, particularly during long and demanding days. These thoughtful gestures have helped keep our teams going and reminded us of the incredible community spirit that exists across the areas we serve.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rapid Relief Team, whose outstanding support and assistance have been invaluable during these incidents, as well as to the many local businesses across these towns who have generously provided food, drinks, supplies and encouragement to our crews when it has been needed most.

In addition, we would like to thank the partners, wives, husbands, families, employers and self-employed individuals who have supported our crews and allowed them to respond when called upon.

Major incidents can mean long days, limited rest and working in extremely hot and challenging conditions. Behind every firefighter and emergency responder is a family, partner or employer making sacrifices and helping to make it possible for them to be there when their communities need them most.

Your understanding, patience and support do not go unnoticed.

Great day for a car wash grand total for the firefighters charity £369.68 thank you to those who attended and donated and thank you to the crew of builth wells for volunteering there time for the charity.
