The return of the Doggy Dip! 🐶💦
After a few years’ hiatus, we decided it was time to bring back the Doggy Dip and what a brilliant day it turned out to be!

The weather was a bit bizarre 🌧️, but the doggies couldn’t have cared less. They all got on brilliantly, splashed around happily, and had an absolute blast. So lovely to see so many wagging tails and happy faces at the pool! 🐾

Once the Pool is reopened it will be back to the usual rules (No dogs in the Pool and on leads around the Pool please) but we will see them for a swim next year 🤩

As you can see, this is what the Pool looks like when it’s empty, it really is one giant rockpool!

We’re currently closed for our annual maintenance, with the team hard at work dredging, jet washing, and painting to get everything in top shape ready for the holidays.

We’ll be reopening before half term, but keep an eye on our socials for the latest updates as we’re hoping it might even be sooner!

In the meantime, we’ll be here to answer any questions you have about the Pool and how it all works, so drop them in the comments or on our stories 🙌

A huge thank you to our judging team from Tamar Vets, our prize sponsors Bude Coastal Pets and Barker's of Bude and of course our wonderful volunteer team who put on such a fabulous event.

We had a tremendous Bank Holiday Monday at the pool with our dog show and doggy dip day. Even the liquid Cornish sunshine that arrived halfway through didn't dampen spirits! Dean from Fat Beagle Photography has kindly donated photos from the day. Please feel free to use them on your social media but if you could consider a £1 donation to the pool next time you're passing it would be much appreciated.
