This week is Drowning Prevention Week - Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK have loads of great information on their page, perfect to share with your visitors and family.

If you're heading to the beach this summer then familiarise yourself with the flag system, head to a lifeguarded beach (we are lucky to have lifeguards on all our main beaches in Bude) and if you do get into trouble float on your back and shout for help.

🌊 Beachscape Sessions Are Here! 🌊

The first Beachscape session, in collaboration with .mel, launched during half term and what a fantastic day it was!

Led by Mel from Swimscape alongside Sea Pool team members Deb and Lucy, these 3-hour sessions combine swimming, marine education, beach exploration and sea safety in a fun, hands-on experience for 7–12 year olds.

The feedback from our first session was brilliant so we are delighted that the team are busy planning more sessions for the summer holidays. Dates will be announced soon so keep an eye on our socials 🤩

The fabulous Almost Synchro team are joining us this Sunday for our Big Lunch event! 🙌

They’ll be performing in the Pool at midday, bringing their unique, fun take on synchronised swimming.

Stick around afterwards and you can even join them for a workshop session and try out some moves yourself. If you’ve always fancied giving synchronised swimming a go, this is your chance!

*there will be a small charge of £5 to join the workshop
