Any enquiries are best directed to the Clerk; [email protected] The Parish Council has, traditionally, used the Parish Magazine and noticeboards to keep parishioners informed of its activities - of forthcoming Council and local events - and of news from central & local government, as well as from others which affect us and our wonderful village. We recognise that these media
are not the main focus of many parishioners’ daily attention and the need for a modern communications strategy. For several years, we have also had a website, where all of this information has been posted and the website has recently undergone a major overhaul. We hope that the new style is both easier to use and more informative. However, because the website has to make available large documents that can require considerable time and attention to research, the Council has established a Facebook presence to bridge the gaps between old and new ways of communication and between unwieldy, legal, documents and easy to read infobites. At first, the purpose of this page will be just that: to give short bursts of concise information with references back to the full information posted on the website. As such, this first version is very much a closed, information only, page. However, it is hoped that, as we gain experience and feedback, we can open this page up to moderated exchange of information and be able to answer queries and issues in a direct way on a platform more people regularly access. Please do feedback to us, though – through Hannah Holmes, the Parish Clerk, with the coordinates that appear on the main page. We’d like to hear what you think and what you’d like to see us develop in the future.
