Let’s Play April 26 News Letter
Dear all
Thank you for continuing to support this wonderful group. As always, we really do welcome your feedback.
Let’s Play Changes
We Listened to the request for singing time on a Saturday as well as our regular Tuesday slot so from Saturday 11th April Saturdays will end with singing time!
Let’s Play team
We have a wonderful team consisting of Karen who is the Local Lay-Pastor, Ann, Fiona, Anthea and Roly. All are fully DBS’d and Safeguarding trained.
Our team wear Lanyards so you can easily identify us.
You may also meet Grace who is currently on her Duke of Edinburgh placement with us.
Let’s Play Clothes share
Thank you for continuing to support this amazing share. You can take as much as you like (it’s all free). Donations can be made but please note the clothing should be stain free, in season and in good repair. We do not have storage facilities for out of season clothing.
Let’s Play Toy Share
Due to lack of storage space, we cannot keep large equipment and toys on site. We host an online free share for all toys and equipment

Let’s Play Support
The support pantry is stocked by Morrisons and by donations and is available for those who need it. It is free to use. No questions are asked and it works on a trust basis. We stock sanitary and hygiene products, washing powder, food, baby food, nappies and wipes.
Speak in confidence to Karen if you require food bank referral. Karen can signpost to support groups and services. Please speak to her in confidence if you are carrying heavy burdens
Let’s Play Welcome
Let’s Play is a welcoming and inclusive group. We have many families involved and there is always room for more. You’ll be welcomed through the door by one of our team. We encourage you to talk to one another and continue the welcoming vibe to everyone.
Let’s Play singing time
We know how much everyone enjoys singing time! Please try to engage in the singing. It’s quite difficult to lead if there is too much chatter going on!!!! Encourage your child to take part, sit with them and help them engage.
Let’s Play refreshments
We know how much our little friends enjoy snack time. If you’d like to bless us with biscuits, they’d be most welcome. We get through an awful lot. Thank you if you are already doing so!!
Let’s Play safely
Please supervise your children
Please ensure that you ask someone to hook the door if you leave the building.
Let’s Play nappies
Please DO NOT put nappies into the sanitary bin! There is a bin in the accessible toilet.

Let’s Explore
We love to see our older children return in the holidays and we love how
they hold their Let’s Play days in their memories and we have been looking at “what happens next”
Following lots of planning, we are happy to announce the next step which is a Saturday morning group called Let’s Explore.
We will share a Bible based story, do some “wondering” and then creatively respond in play (small world /Lego or arty fun) We invite our school age (or ready for school children) and their grown up’s to pop along Saturday May 23rd & June 20th.
10.30 – 11.30am
This is an intergenerational experience and everyone can join in.
