They also select a candidate to stand for election as our Member of Parliament and candidates to stand for election to become Councillors for both Bromsgrove District Council and Worcestershire County Council. Having worked in business before becoming an MP, I’m honoured to have been appointed by Kemi to serve as Shadow Business Minister.

Businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages and across the country are being squeezed more and more by this anti-business Government.

Ministers need to get off businesses’ backs and get on their side. Working hard should pay off.

What Labour fundamentally doesn’t understand is that businesses are the engine of economic growth and job creation. The policies the Conservatives are developing reflect this.

I’m looking forward to using my business experience to hold the Government to account and working with colleagues to bring forward fresh ideas as we take our party’s pro-business case to the country.
