️🌈🌦️ Come rain or… more rain, our team is out every day helping to keep Brixham looking its best!

Working alongside Torbay Council’s Highways team, our team carries out a wide range of work across the town, including clearing litter from gullies and pavements, maintaining alleyways and steps, grass and hedge cutting, supporting wildflower schemes, and preparing our summer floral displays.

Recent work has included:
📍 Rae Barn Cross
📍 Holwell Road bridle path
📍 Knick Knack Lane
📍 Graffiti removal on Bolton Street
📍 Cutting back overgrowth on Windmill Lane
📍 Wishing's Field cut back, with some long areas for insects to thrive

These jobs may not always grab the headlines, but they make a real difference to the appearance, safety and accessibility of our town.

Thank you to everyone who reports issues and helps us keep Brixham clean, tidy and welcoming for all. 💙

📢 Calling all local businesses! 📢

Due to the growing popularity of The Signal, this year we expanded to an impressive 32 pages, which now allows us to create some additional advertising space – but availability is limited!

Our October edition is one of the most sought-after issues of the year, covering the build-up to Christmas and featuring seasonal events, community news and festive information. As a result, it is typically oversubscribed with both articles and advertisements, so we strongly recommend booking your space early.

Why advertise in The Signal?

✅ Delivered directly by Royal Mail to over 10,000 residential addresses across TQ5
✅ Reach local residents right in their homes
✅ Promote your business ahead of the busy Christmas trading period
✅ Affordable advertising packages starting from just £57.65
✅ Support a trusted and well-read community publication

If you'd like to find out more or reserve your space, please contact us at:

Don't miss this opportunity to put your business in front of thousands of local households this autumn and festive season!

🎉Happy Devon Day!

A day dedicated to celebrating everything that makes Devon special, whether you're enjoying the harbour views, exploring the coast, or debating the correct cream tea order, there's plenty to love about life in Brixham and Devon. ❤️

Fun fact: the tradition of celebrating Devon Day dates back to honouring St Petroc, 6th-century saint closely associated with Devon and neighbours in Cornwall.
