There’s only a couple of months left to choose Orchard Forest School as your local cause, so we can access some funding for our Wednesday Warrior group. This particular group helps fund our adult volunteers who come to the orchard on a weekly basis to help us manage the land, making it safe and inviting for all our children and family sessions. Without these guys our staff would have to spend more of their time managing the land rather than rolling out sessions for our local families and community.
Wednesday Warriors is a lifeline to some of our participants, who are isolated, lonely, struggle with their mental/physical health or have gone through trauma or loss. Some of which have been prescribed by their GPs.
The orchard provides them with a safe, calming space they can visit on a weekly basis, to meet new friends, enjoy a campfire lunch together and feel they belong somewhere special.
The good thing is you don’t have to be local to us to vote for us!

We know some of you like to get organised and get dates in your diaries! So here is our Orchard Forest School annual Christmas Wreath workshop date!
At this session you’ll enjoy creating your own festive wreath to take home, using foliage we’ve gathered for you from the orchard. You’ll have chance to create something wonderful to be proud of.
You’ll be warmed by a warm festive drink and enjoy a festive treat. 🍷
This adult session is always good fun and one of our festive favourites!
Gather your friends together and whizz us an email, because bookings are now open!!!

Due to the summer’s heat impacting on our apple harvest at Orchard Forest School this year, we’ve recreated our ‘Big Bay Bake’ community day 🍏and renamed it our ‘Autumn Festival.’
Mainly to prevent our community being disappointed by our small apple harvest this year! However there’s still apples, there’s still going to be apple pressing going on, our cake stall, campfire food, marshmallow toasting, delicious cider from Bollhayes Cider and for this year we’ve got some furry friends visiting us from Point Field Smallholding C.I.C !
So a great day out with your family and friends, a chance to have a look around, a chance for your explorers to showcase their playground to their family members and a chance to come and help us raise some funds for the winter months!
Please bring cash (BACS accepted over £5).
Park down at Lupton house (small charge in carpark which goes towards our driveway!) or if you’re wanting a cider or two, we’re on a direct bus route number 12! 🍺😉
