We’re delighted to announce that Dr Bike from The Bristol Bike Project will be joining the Plant Love and St Paul's Repair Cafe this month!

Bring your bike for a free check-up, have a household item repaired and get involved in growing plants and food for the community 💚

⏰ Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
📍 Venue: St Paul’s Learning Centre

About Dr Bike:
A free drop-in session where two mechanics will treat your bike to a safety check, as well as a gear and brake tune up. This includes free brake blocks and cables, where needed.

We give a "diagnosis" form for each bike so you know how healthy (or not) it is. If a bike needs more attention, we recommend our bike shop on Stapleton Road to do the work.

The mechanics will spend about 30 minutes on each bike.

We will work on a first come, first served basis. So please come near the start of the session, to avoid disappointment.

A FREE training course for Refugees and Asylum seekers fluent in English and at least one other language.

Delivered by Voices in Refuge in partnership with Across Border UK at St Pauls Learning Centre.

✨ Looking back at one of the brilliant events held in our space

Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting Marmalade Trust as they received The King’s Award for Voluntary Service — the equivalent of an MBE for voluntary organisations.

We’re especially pleased to have Marmalade Trust based in our building. Their work raising awareness of loneliness and helping to build more connected communities is incredibly important 💛
