A brand-new eastern entrance is opening at Bristol Temple Meads next week. 🚉🏙️

The £23 million project will provide direct access between the historic railway station and the University of Bristol's new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. Designed to improve connections for communities in St Philip's Marsh and the east of the city, the new entrance is a major step in doubling the capacity of the region's busiest station.

🚉 The Route: The station subway has been extended beneath platforms 13 and 15 to create the new access point, which officially opens on Monday, September 7 at 4pm.
💡 Good to know: Starting Tuesday, September 8, the 8 bus service to Clifton will be rerouted to serve a new stop right by the eastern entrance on Cattle Market Road.

Will this make your daily commute any easier? 👇

STOLEN BACKPACK

Hi, all, my daughter had her backpack stolen from the bar at the Wardrobe theatre last night. Nothing of much value, although the person who stole it quickly made use of her bank cards, but lots of necessary, needed and sentimental possessions have gone.

If you come across a black and brown Herschel backpack discarded somewhere, please cold you message me? I’m Erica Neustadt on facebook.

Many thanks!
