Bristol Young Labour

Yesterday Bristol Young Labour and University of Bristol Labour Club went down to parliament. It was an amazing experience with amazing like minded activists. There we saw democracy in action, watching defence questions on issues such as Ukraine 🇺🇦, cyber security and how the cost of living affects veterans.

We also met with Ed Miliband and Labour MPs Kerry McCarthy, Thangam Debbonaire and Karin Smyth to discuss the future and how a Labour government could transform people’s lives and how best we can get our message across to the public.

Thankyou so much to all those who came along and thankyou to UOB labour for helping to organise.

Our members were in attendance at today’s strike rally. We continue to stand by academics, researchers and staff in their campaign. They shouldn’t have to deal with insecure work, wage inequality and pension cuts.
