We were really proud to host this event yesterday. Incredibly important conversations were had, and it was inspiring to be in a room full of people who wanted to change the narrative around Afriphobia.

Yesterday we brought Bristol agencies together to talk about Afriphobia and how we successfully tackle it. There were incredibly important conversations looking at how we truly transform the narrative around Afriphobia and make actual, sustainable change.

The sold out event was part of our BHCDS partnership, and created in association with the African Voices Forum (AVF) , Bristol Muslim Strategic Leadership Group , Bristol's Commission on Race Equality and Bristol Race Equality Strategic Leaders' Group.

James Martin has been in the public eye this month for being the first actor with Down Syndrome to win an Oscar. We’d like to use this opportunity to speak about Dan from Brandon Trust.

Brandon Trust use drama to deliver accessible training on disability hate crime; Dan, as one of their Assistant Trainers, co-delivers the work. He's a fantastic actor who loves the work and is very popular!
