Boys' Brigade - 11th Bristol

Today we had our BB coffee morning and lunch. We served a chicken and vegetable stew with homemade bread rolls. Followed by peaches and custard. We raised over £190, and sent alot of people home happy and full.

So day 7 the final day it was a packed morning of shuting down packing away camp
And that's it all done for another year
Next year were off to Prestatyn
Camp was fantastic now time to relax

Day 6 or final full day which involved officers v boys tug of war and puddox .
A trip into Ilfracombe for shopping and walk about .
Ceremonial retreat and to finish camp concert and awards

Day 5 we woke up to rain and alot of fog. We had inter tent sports, the boys went on a geo catch walk and a special activity to the monster slip and slide. Which the boys and adults really enjoyed. To finish the day off the senior boys went off on a late night and the younger ones stayed in to watch a film with sweets and popcorn

Day 4 we had inter tent sports and went to a falcon and sheepdog show.

3rd day was a very early start and a long day, due to an all day special event which included high ropes, wall climb, archery , mountain boarding and an water assualt course.
Followed by a nice cottage pie to finish off the day.

Sorry a day late but 2nd day we went to dic golf and had lots of fun doing it with the wind whiping across making it difficult at times. We have done lots of sports and had a lovely quiz

1st full day of camp today tent inspection went well but unfortunately tent 4 didn't get it .
We went to a local church for our Sunday service .
We've done lots of activities inside camp which includes watching the England women v Spain .

Arrived safe at Woolacombe for Avon Battalion camping 2025 all set up and looking forward to the week ahead.

on saturday we hosted a BB coffee morning and lunch . We had chicken stew with homemade cheese or plain rolls lots of prep went into this and even had the boys prep some vegetable for the veggie stew .
we had lots of positive feedback on how mice it was and raised over £150 .
A special thanks goes to Arthur David, Food With Service for there lovely donation of our vegetables it was very much appreciated
also James and Adam the two other young officers that helped me to serve out and keep things running .
