Sadly Eastville Market is closing this week forever.
The last market day is tomorrow, Friday 27 April 2018.
The fruit and veg is open Friday and Saturday and the last day of trading will be this Sunday the 29 April 2018.

Fruit stall at Eastville market is currently looking for temporary staff to work Fridays, 8am until 3pm, for a period of 3 to 6 months. This is a very physical job involving heavy lifting and general duties. Message Jude on FB or apply at the stall.

Reduce plastic pollution.
The fruit and veg stall is committed to reducing single use plastic bags. Most items are available without plastic and the option of paper bags to those customers who don't want plastic and are also interested in going plastic free. We aim to source products with the least plastic possible. Plastic bags are free but cost the earth.
We wish to thank all our customers who have helped reduce our waste by helping compost our waste and using the wooden boxes for kindling. All our waste plastic is recycled or reused.
The fruit and veg stall is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am until 2.30pm. We also accept card payments.
Paper bags are limited while stocks last.
Any enquiries for stalls at Eastville market must be made in person on at the market on a Friday.

And much more it's a great time to buy your seasonal summer fruits. The fruit stall accepts visa card payments, free of charge, no minimum. Carrier bags are free but cost the earth. Most of our produce uses much less plastic packaging than any supermarket. Please support your local market.

(Anyone interested in having a stall on the market must visit in person on a Friday and speak to the market manager, I can't answer any questions relating to pitch cost or availability.)

Chinese new year. Saturday 28rh January 2017
Due to the Chinese new year celebrations Eastville market's fruit and veg stall will be closed for 1 day on Saturday 28th January 2017.
The market is open as usual on Friday 27th January 2017 and the fruit stall will be open as usual on Sunday 29th January, from 8am until 2.30pm.
