AVON AND SOMERSET POLICE
Residents are advised that a garden shed was broken into on Ashcott Road, Meare, at approximately 4:00am on the 23rd.
Three unknown offenders, all dressed in black clothing, forced entry to a neighbouring shed and were in the process of attempting to gain entry to another when they were disturbed.
Several residents were awakened by the noise and, acting collectively, challenged the offenders, who then made off in a silver vehicle, dropping items that had been stolen from the sheds.
Please remain vigilant, report any suspicious behaviour, and ensure sheds and outbuildings are securely locked. Prompt reporting of suspicious activity can help prevent further incidents.

A home was burgled on Millbatch, Glastonbury, at approximately 3:00am on the 24th.
The offender(s), described as wearing black clothing with face coverings, gained entry via a kitchen window without the use of force.
Once inside, a wallet and vehicle keys were taken. The offenders then stole the resident’s vehicle, a Cupra Leon, which also contained several expensive power tools.
Please remain vigilant, ensure all windows and doors are securely closed and locked, and avoid leaving keys in easily accessible locations.
