SMART Sheds is committed to honouring the legacy of SDEC and working with local people to decide what happens next. SMART was registered as a

charity in 1985 to relieve persons who are suffering from any form of mental illness. As a registered charity we are always fundraising so that we can constantly improve the opportunities we offer. SMART works closely with the providers of statutory services, such as local community mental health teams and day services to develop a more holistic approach to support people with mental health needs.

The last weekend of our Brighton Fringe event happened! Saturday's rain and wind took down the outside of our story shed but the sun shone on Sunday

A busy day of visitors and a scything lesson for the boys. With well over 450 people coming to volunteer, see the art trail and participate in the events, fair and workshops it has been amazing and we now have a good idea about what we're going to do next.

These autumnal mornings are beautiful up here on the downs, dew has started to settle on the outside of our sheep's thick wooly coats but soon it'll have all evaporated by the sun rising over the hill 😌
